Congratulations to former Bridgepoint Panther Jimmi Educardo Gonzalez Salas who won a FREE Computer which was generously donated by DB Tech's Michael Gomez.
Mr. Gomez is passionate about computers and even more passionate about helping youths and giving back to the community. Prior to the 2021 winter break, Mr. Gomez, presented Bridgepoint students with an opportunity to win a free computer that he built. Students were asked to write an essay on 3 topics related to technology and how it has impacted our everday lives and Jimmi was able to capatitalize on this amazing opportunity. We want to thank Mr. Gomez for his generousity and support for our community and thank Jimmi for his participation.
Greetings Panther students and families,
I am excited to welcome you to the 21-22 school year. It has been an honor to serve as the Newark Unified Principal of Alternative Education for the past four years. I look forward to celebrating my fifth year as your principal and my 26th year in high school education. As our district has communicated, we will be returning in-person for the 21-22 school year. We know that we will work together as a Panther family to ensure everyone stays healthy and safe.
It is a great source of pride for all of your Panther staff that we received our full school accreditation from WASC last school year. We received a maximum six-year term that validates our mission, vision, and efforts. WASC will return this winter to see how we've adapted to all the changes and will provide feedback on how we can best serve our students and families. I encourage all Panthers and their parents/guardians to be active participants in this process and in all our work together this year.
